Inter-Negatives
Inter-negatives are negatives that have been created from slides.
Our technician simply shoots the slide or transparency with regular
colour or black & white film thus creating the inter-negative.
Then with the inter-negative we are capable of creating your photo.
Copy
Negatives
Copy negatives are negatives created from an existing photograph.
If you have lost or misplaced your original negative, than a copy
negative is created.
Custom
Black & White Printing
All our B&W printing is done by traditional means, where our
highly trained technicians print with a conventional enlarger.
From either a B&W or colour negative our highly trained lab
technicians can produce your black & white image from negatives
raging in sizes from 35mm to 8x10. Dodging or burning is provided
upon request by our technicians.
Custom
Colour Printing
///UAF Photo Lab’s custom colour printing is of the highest
quality where traditionally handcrafted prints are made from colour
negatives. Negatives that can be used range from 35mm to 8x10.
Together with your negatives and our skilled ///UAF lab technicians
we create your specific print to suit your needs. If there are
any special instructions regarding dodging and burning our lab
technicians will be sure to follow your instructions precisely.
Sepia
Services
With the recent reintroduction of Sepia Tone prints, some photographers
have their own preference to what tone they would like their photographs
to look like. In this instance we ask that a proof be provided
in order to match the proper colour or tone that is requested.
There are two types of Sepia Tone that ///UAF Photo Lab offers:

Black & White negatives printed on colour
paper. Here our highly trained lab technicians will colour
match any given proof to get the certain sepia tone you desire.

Black & White or Colour Negatives printed on Black
& White Poli-Max paper. The image is put through
a Sepia Tone bath, there we bleach and add toner in order
to get the rich Sepia Tone look that you, the Professional
Photographer want and have come to expect from ///UAF Photo
Lab.
Edge
Taping And Molding
In addition to our already great line of services and products,
///UAF also offers Edge Tape and Molding to gatorboard mounts.
Simply, the edge taping and /or molding adds a finishing touch
to any gatorboard-mounted print. Whatever colour you are looking
for, it can be applied. Our molding will make your gatorboard-mounted
prints look like a million dollars for a minimal cost.
